Fall into Autumn with Style

Autumn, or Fall as it’s also called, is my favorite season. If you follow me on Tumblr or Pinterest, I think you already have a feel of my style and what I like. Autumn is when my personal style shines the most. I wish I could say I’m going to take more risks but I’m not. I like my style and the simplicity of it and I’m not trying to change unless I feel the urge to. I’ve been working on my closet for a while but this is ultimately what I want to see more of.

MORE BOOTS, BOOTIES AND ALL BLACK

Seriously, when I find a jacket like the one below, I’m going to wear it ALL THE TIME because it’s so BAD ASS.

This is already me but without the hat. Maybe I’ll get into the hat thing.

MORE MONOCHROMATIC

I used to really love prints but now that I’m completely enamored with a simplistic style, I’ll save prints for stationary. Solid colors are easier to mix and match; getting more wear out of an outfit is of utmost importance.

MORE OPEN BACKS

To know me is to know that I love showing my back. It’s sexy without doing too much.

MORE SHEER

This speaks to the Carrie Bradshaw in me. It’s fun and flirty.

MORE LOOSE-FITTING

I’ve never really been interested in form-fitting clothing. I’m extra petite and to me, form-fitting is to be left to a woman with curves. I prefer to blow with the wind.

MORE BLACK AND WHITE

My friend asked me if black and white were my favorite colors and I said no but maybe I should take that black. I really really really love black and white.

So excited for this change. Will you be making any adjustments in your wardrobe this Autumn?

  1. Autumn is my favorite season as well 🙂 This year, I’m going to stick with over-sized cardigans, t-shirt & jeans for my casual wear, dressy outfits feat. black, gold, & oxblood, and possibly some monochromatic looks based on emerald or sienna! Love this post, Lucy 🙂
